Sunday 21st June
Chantilly to Lausanne
After breakfast, we begin our journey south through peaceful stretches of the French motorway network. Expect smooth driving, scenic countryside, and a picturesque lunch stop en route.
Our destination is a luxury 5-star hotel and spa overlooking Lake Geneva. With panoramic views, an elegant terrace, and a serene pool, this is the ideal place to recharge after a fulfilling first day behind the wheel.
Monday 22nd June Lausanne to Rapallo
Today’s route is shorter but no less spectacular. Heading into the Alps, we cross the iconic Great St Bernard Pass, a driver’s dream filled with tight switchbacks, breathtaking climbs, and panoramic vistas.
As we descend into Italy, the journey continues along winding motorways through lush hillsides, eventually revealing glimpses of the Mediterranean coast.
Our hotel in Rapallo features traditional Italian charm, a private terrace, an infinity pool, and unforgettable sea views.
Arrive early and take a detour to nearby Portofino, or simply relax and enjoy the ambiance.
Tuesday 23rd June
Rapallo to Saint-Martin-Vésubie
We depart Rapallo along scenic coastal roads, gradually curving north toward the French Riviera. A special highlight today: a detour along the famed SS1 coastal road, a ribbon of tarmac hugging cliffs and weaving through rugged coastal rock.
From there, we ascend into the foothills above Monaco, heading for the legendary Col de Turini, a stage immortalized by the Monte Carlo Rally. This thrilling route is filled with dramatic bends and stunning views.
Our boutique hotel awaits at the foot of the pass, an idyllic end to a truly spectacular driving day.
Wednesday 24th June
Saint-Martin-Vésubie to French Alps
A full day of pure driving pleasure. We begin with a journey through the surreal Gorges du Cians, followed by the Red Rock Road, a cinematic stretch of canyon framed by crimson cliffs and winding tunnels.
From there, we climb deeper into the Alps via the unforgettable Col de la Bonette, one of the highest paved roads in Europe.
Our final destination is nestled in the French Alps, where a luxurious spa and evening of relaxation await, capping off a day packed with alpine drama and unparalleled scenery.
Thursday 25th June
French Alpes to Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
Get ready for a day dedicated to pure alpine driving. We’ll be climbing some of the highest and most iconic roads in France, starting with the legendary Col du Galibier, a dramatic ascent that sets the tone for the day.
Next, we tackle the equally thrilling Col du Mont, followed by a grand finale: the Col de l'Iseran, the highest paved road in the Alps at a breathtaking 2,770 metres. Each pass offers sweeping views, exhilarating switchbacks, and memories you’ll never forget. After descending towards Moûtiers, we take on one of our favourite stretches of road, quiet, technical, and endlessly enjoyable. But the real highlight awaits at the top: Hotel Lodji, nestled in Saint-Martin-de- Belleville.
Having stayed here on last year’s EuroRun, this hotel left a lasting impression, and for good reason. With its warm atmosphere, impeccable service, and stylish alpine charm, it’s the perfect place to wrap up our adventure. Join us that evening for final drinks, a celebratory dinner, and our EuroRun Awards Night. It’s the ultimate way to toast an incredible week on the road.
