Description.

INTO THE ALPS
The first driving day takes us south from Burgundy towards the Alps. By afternoon, the motorways disappear and the Petit Saint-Bernard Pass takes us across the French–Italian border, descending into the Aosta Valley before one final climb to our mountain retreat at Monterosa.
